We’re excited to announce that MyCoinWorX now supports direct integration with PMG (Paper Money Guaranty) for adding paper currency to your collection or inventory. Whether you’re a collector or a dealer, you can now seamlessly import and manage US paper money using both individual lookup and bulk import features. This update streamlines the process, saves time, and enhances data accuracy for your numismatic collection.
How the PMG Integration Works
- Two Easy Methods:
- Individual Lookup: Instantly add a single note by entering its certificate number.
- Bulk Import: Upload a CSV file for large inventory additions—perfect for dealers and advanced collectors.
- Crowdsourced Database: Every new note type added via PMG or PCGS integration is captured and made available for the community, ensuring a continually expanding and accurate paper money database.
- Flexible Note Types: MyCoinWorX supports a wide range of note types, including Federal Reserve Notes, Silver Certificates, Gold Certificates, United States Notes, National Bank Notes, Fractional Currency, Confederate Notes, Obsolete Bank Notes, and more. If a type isn’t listed, our support team can add it.
Advanced Features for Paper Currency
- Era and Size Grouping: Notes are categorized by era (e.g., Small/Large Size, Red/Blue Seal) for easy filtering and organization.
- Seal Color System: Instantly recognize note types by colored dots (red, blue, brown, yellow, green, gold, black, gray) in your inventory.
- Smart Filtering: Filter your collection by seal color, with dropdowns showing available colors and counts for quick navigation.
- Image Handling: Any available images from PMG are automatically imported; users can also upload their own.
- No eBay Integration Yet: eBay support for notes is coming soon, ensuring future marketplace expansion.
- Market Data: Currently, market pricing for notes is not available, but we’re working to add reliable sources.
How to Add Paper Money Using PMG Integration
- Use the certificate lookup or bulk certificate tool for paper currency.
- Click “Add to Inventory” and fill in the note details.
- Images and grader data are imported automatically.
- For new or rare note types, use the cert tool with a similar note’s cert number to populate details (don’t save if not your note).
